This video of Christopher Isulat, backed with heightening instrumental music, captures the spectacular wildlife around and under the waters of pristine Dimakya, an island that’s part of the Calamian Group of Islands in northern Palawan, 440km south of Manila. From schools of scads to colonies of bats, there is nothing this eco-adventure spot cannot lure travel junkies not to pack and go, ahora mismo!

How to get there
Skyjet Airlines, Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific all have regular, direct flights from Manila to Busuanga. From the airport, take a jeepney to Coron Town, from where there are outrigger boats for hire to take you to any of the surrounding islands, including Dimakya.

Where to stay
Book a stay at Club Paradise, an island resort located right within Dimakya Island.

Coron Tours
Blue Lagoon Adventure Travel & Tours is a Coron-based tour operator, offering trips to the different tourist hotspots throughout Coron and the rest of the Calamianes group of islands.
