Diniwid Beach in Boracay Island

Take a break from the usual Boracay and head to the secluded cove of Diniwid Beach. Photo by @and_off_she_went

Boracay’s Diniwid Beach is only a 15- to 20-minute walk from White Beach Station 1, but it’s an entirely different world with a small but stunning stretch of beach. Often deserted, it’s a good choice for those seeking to escape the crowds at the main strip. Sparkling turquoise waters and the standard Boracay sand keep the sea inviting to swimmers. The nearby Spider House Resort also has a floating dock on the water, a great place to hang out and enjoy the sun.

Depending on the results of the election later today, we may not leave for a while ????

How to get there
Fly from Metro Manila to Caticlan via Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific. From the airport, ride a tricycle to the Caticlan jetty port where there are ferries headed to Boracay Island, 15 minutes away. Once you get to the island, hop on a tricycle to Diniwid Beach.
