Dumaluan Beach, about 18km from provincial capital Tagbilaran City in Bohol, is arguably the most picturesque stretch of beach in Panglao Island. It has an impressive shoreline that stretches to over three kilometers, fringed by coconut trees that provide shade to beachcombers and the perfect backdrop to complete that tropical vibe. Its creamy white sand is as fine as Boracay's lapped by clear waters that are as still as time. The seabed slopes gradually, making it a swimming haven for families with kids in tow. You'll find some of the island's more famous resorts like South Palms Resort Panglao, Bohol Beach Club and Dumaluan Beach Resort sitting on this stretch.
How to get there
Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific fly daily from Manila to Tagbilaran, Bohol. From the airport, ride a taxi, tricycle or habal-habal to Dumaluan Beach in Panglao Island. If you're staying in South Palms Beach Resort, the resort can arrange round-trip transfers to and from the airport.
