Lakawon Island, Negros

It's the ultimate party island, with powder-white sand, azure waters, and a floating bar as entertainment center

Low tide miracle. So stoked to see this sandbar. ???????? #beautifuldestinations

We just can’t get enough of gorgeous Lakawon Island, which looks like a pretty white swirl of sand on the crisp blue waters of Cadiz in Negros Occidental, 701km southeast of Manila. Fronting the beach are open air huts and huge pillows for lounging. The Tawhai Floating Bar, a split-level lounge bar in the middle of the sea is the island's entertainment center, open from 10am to 8pm daily.

More stunning snaps of beautiful Lakawon…

Thank You????

How to get there
Take a Cebu Pacific Air flight from Manila to Bacolod City. From Bacolod City, go to Ceres North Bus Terminal and board a bus to Cadiz, and from Cadiz city center, take a jeep or tricycle to the port of Barangay Cadiz Viejo, where there are boats for hire to take you to Lakawon Island.

Where to stay
Lakawon Island Beach Resort and Spa has bamboo huts for hire, with rates from P1,500 (US$30) per night for two, valid this August only. Standard rate is from P2,500.
