Stepping into Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan, 102km south of Angeles City, Pampanga, transports travelers back to the Philippines' distant past, around the colonization era, giving a gimpse of early aristocratic Filipinos' lifestyle. The resort features cobblestone streets, centuries-old mansions lining the sidewalks, and tours curated by guides dressed up in 18th-century garb. Each house at Las Casas was saved from ruin and painstakingly restored to its original state, and rented out to guests who wish to stay and bask in the nostalgic vibe for a few days. Day tours are also availble.
