Nigella Lawson, British best-selling author of cookery books and known to many as the sexy domestic goddess on TV, is in Manila to launch Del Monte Philippines' premium culinary brand, Contadina, in a cookalong today, September 6, with Filipino food lovers Stephanie Zubiri, Daphne Oseña-Paez, and Chef JP Anglo.

Contadina is a line of Italian premium products including pasta, tin tomatoes, sauces, and oils, sourced from some of the world's best food producers.

Nigella's first book, How to Eat, was published in 1998. This started a few more best-selling cookery books and a series of TV shows which made her a star, becoming well known for what the BBC described as "her sensual descriptions of her dishes". She studied Medieval and Modern Languages at Oxford and was deputy literary editor of The Sunday Times.

Lawson's instagram account showcases some of her newly-favorited Filipino food. Follow her on Instagram. Follow her on Facebook using the hashtag #NigellaXContadina.
