Notes from...Two Seasons Coron, Palawan

Giselle Dalton gives us a tour of Coron's stunningly beautiful island resort on Bulalacao Island, about 45 minutes by boat from Coron Town

The view from the verandah of Two Seasons Coron Island Resort and Spa's island tip bungalow with jacuzzi is stunning, even on a cloudy day. The highlight of my stay—a soak in my own jacuzzi facing the sea and the island's main beach and sandbar.

The island has two private beaches, a vibrant house reef, and a turtle and giant clam sanctuary.

The island tip bungalow with jacuzzi has some of the best views on the island.

Another snap from the bungalow's verandah.

Try out the Molokini, a transparent, two-passenger kayak made out of polycarbonate material used in the production of bullet-proof glass and fighter jet canopies. On sunny days you can see up to depths of 75 feet.

The resort's sandbar.

Smell-good, feel-good L'Occitane toiletries in the bathroom.

After checking in, my friend and I ordered crab fat pasta, mushroom soup, chicken and fried rice, and buko (coconut) salad for lunch, served at the verandah. I don't think my snaps do the food justice.

The resort's Narra Spa.

A choice of massage oils.

The private jetty at Two Seasons Bayside Resort in Coron town, the jump-off point for island hopping in Coron and departures to Two Seasons Coron Island Resort.

Two Seasons' speedboat takes you to the island and back to Coron town in about 45 minutes.
