Even from a distance, the waters shimmer in changing hues of blue. Pinagbuyutan Island, around 21 kilometers from the El Nido town center in Palawan, is a picture-perfect beach with its small strip of white sand shore dwarfed by the towering limestone cliffs rising at the back. Diving and snorkeling are top-notch in the waters surrounding Pinagbuyutan, although tourists need to bring their own gear or rent elsewhere as there are no dive centers in the island.
Pinagbuyutan Island is part of Tour B in El Nido's standard tour packages. Other islands in the package are Pangalusian Island, Snake Island, Cadugnon Point and Cave, and Pinasil Island and Cathedral Cave.
