Coconut (cocos nucifera) is one of the major crops that grow abundantly in the Philippines, particularly in provinces like Quezon and Sorsogon, and we all love it for a  gazillion reasons – its leaves can be a cozy shade on sweltering days; its fruit provides for the most refreshing juice to drink, said to bring cleansing benefits; its meat used in cooking scrumptious delicacies. On top of the fruit is the tree itself, which is that detail that turn a beach into a perfect tropical scenery like this one in Siargao in Mindanao captured by @kapuluancoconut
