I packed the kids and hubby in the car for a wonderful weekend in The Oriental Luxury Suites Tagaytay, high on the cliffside off Tagaytay's ridge, overlooking stunning Taal Volcano and lake.
The hotel has only seven suites and feels more like a luxury holiday home than a hotel. We're staying in the executive suite on the second floor with a glass enclosed verandah giving us a 180-degree view of Taal Volcano and lake.
Priceless view of Taal Volcano and Lake.
The Executive suite, my weekend nest. The hotel has a love affair with Thai furnishings and accessories.
My favorite seat in the lanai, best spot for watching the volcano and lake.
My blue drink.
Purple is a royal Thai color.
Elephants in my bed.
Great view from our private verandah.
We ring the bell and our butler Raymond appears in a flash, like a genie, and always with a big smile. Soon as we hit the pool, he was there, with sandwiches.
"Dive in, the water is warm!"
Love these pendant lamps in the second floor living area.
The hotel's Presidential Suite, from P35,000 a night
An open-plan lay-out and a wonderful daybed in the hotel living room next to the lanai.
