The famous waterfalls offers a pleasant sprinkling of cool water instead of the usual violent rush, but it is no less majestic. Photo by @joshmcaree

Moments like these make me never want to stay in one place again! #travelbug

Tumalog Falls in Oslob, Cebu is only one of the province's many waterfalls, but it makes a name for itself for the towering heights, the gentle way the water trickles from the top and the clean blue-green water of the natural lagoon. Swimming is safe; the water is quite shallow, roughly just waist or chest deep for adults. Located about 150 kilometers from Cebu City, it's nestled in the forests of Oslob, a town most known for its whale sharks and beaches.

Almost dried up. But still an unmatched beauty ???? #waterfall #CebuKeepsMeGoing #InspireMotivate

How to get there
Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Air Asia fly from Manila to Cebu. Get to Oslob by riding a Ceres Liner bus from Cebu City bound for Bato via Oslob. Travel time is two to three hours. Tell the driver to drop you off at Oslob town center. From there, take a habal-habal to Tumalog Falls.
Entrance fee to the waterfalls is P20 (US$0.42).
