Three Philippine destinations have been voted as some of the 20 best islands in the world in Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards 2015.
The travel magazine released the results of its annual survey on October 19.
Palawan took the top spot on the list for the second year in a row, edging out other beach destinations such as Bora Bora in French Polynesia; Santorini, Greece; and Bali, Indonesia.
"This small island—one of the Philippines’ 7,107—shot to the top of our list again this year with a recent claim to fame: It’s now home to one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River," said Conde Nast Traveler.

At the same time, Boracay took the 15th spot, being lauded for its coastlines, sunsets, and nightlife.

Cebu is the third Philippine destination on the list, ranking 19th. The island is hailed for its beaches on the mainland and surrounding islands, as well as its restaurants and shopping.

Over 128,000 people took part in the publications' 28th annual Readers' Choice Awards survey - the highest number of respondents in the survey's history.
