Cascara Latte

Starbucks’ first new beverage for 2017, Cascara Latte is a drink that gets its flavors from the fruit of the coffee cherry giving it a subtle and light flavor. The latte is a mix of espresso with steamed milk and cascara syrup topped with a velvety foam and sprinkled with cascara topping, cascara extract and cane sugar. Erin Marinan of Starbucks Beverage Research and Development Team says “Cascara Latte has a nice dark brown sugar and maple flavor that is subtly sweet.” Offered for a limited period.

Smoked Butterscotch Latte

The Smoked Butterscotch Latte is back, having been part of Starbucks’ coffee menu last year. The latte is a concoction of espresso, steamed milk and smoked butterscotch sauce sprinkled on top with smoky butterscotch topping. The smoky flavor compliments the mild sweetness of the butterscotch. Offered for a limited period.

Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble

Don’t be fooled by its sweet façade. This coffee is espresso-based, blended with milk, mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel, sea salt and brownie crumbles.

Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle

Again, an espresso-based drink but with white chocolate sauce, chestnut-flavored syrup, and whipped cream with a drizzle of chestnut syrup on top.
