Take me to...Banul Beach

With its clear, emerald waters, creamy white-sand, and limestone cliffs, what's not to like? Banul is a perfect tropical spot for chilling out, snorkelling and diving

Banul Beach in Coron, Palawan with its creamy white sand, clear waters, and limestone cliffs is one tropical beach paradise you shouldn't miss. Just a few minutes away by boat from the Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake, Banul is an ideal lunch stop on a Coron island-hopping tour. If you like diving and snorkelling, this is a perfect place to spend the day. Rent a thatched hut on the beach for next to nothing.

Cebu Pacific Air and Philippine Airlines fly from Manila to Busuanga daily, while Skyjet Airlines flies every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. From Busuanga, ride a passenger van from the airport to Coron town. Ride is about 40 minutes, and fare is P150 (US$3) per person. In Coron town, rent a boat in the port by the market for about P6000 for 8 people, or negotiate with the boatmen for better prices. You could also book a standard island hopping tour with Banul Beach as one of the stops. Try Calamian Islands Travel and Tours.
