Metro Manila's best Christmas bazaars

Get into the spirit of Christmas gift-giving at some of Manila's festive Christmas bazaars. Where else can you shop and join a zumba party or buy up the latest clothes from fashion bloggers?

Circuit Makati Bazaar

November 27 to 29, Circuit Makati

Why go? For the nightly celebrity auction, blogger finds, and join the Zumba party
The three-day bazaar at Makati's new entertainment district, Circuit, is bringing together over 200 sellers offering fashion finds, accessories, electronics, toys, and food items. The bazaar features a celebrity auction every night at 8pm, giving shoppers the chance to bring home items from celebrities such as TV host and club owner Tim Yap, fashion blogger Dani Barretto, and model-actress CJ Jaravata. More than shopping, the event also features a Zumba party on the 28th, as well as performances by Up Dharma Down on the 27th, Never the Strangers on the 28th, and Taken by Cars on the 29th. Entrance is P50 (US$1), or free for MasterCard holders.

St. James Christmas Bazaar

Why go? There are 500 sellers, so there's something for everyone and every budget.

Now on its 24th year running, this bazaar has become something of a holiday tradition for people in southern Metro Manila, particularly the residents of the posh Ayala Alabang village, where the event is held. With over 500 concessionaires selling products ranging from ethnic handicraft, silver jewelry, to clothing overruns, there is something at St. James for every one and every budget. Entrance is free.

Why go? There are over 300 fashion brands. Great for the style savvy
This year-long bazaar series is launching its holiday edition, where over 300 fashion brands are participating together with Manila's top fashion bloggers such as Laureen Uy and David Guison. Celebrities like Say Alonzo, Empress Schuck and Melissa Ricks will also have booths. Expect clothing, footwear, and accessories that are on trend, making this bazaar the perfect place to shop for your style-savvy friends. Entrance is P100.

15th World Bazaar Festival

World Bazaar Festival

December 4 to 21, World Trade Center, Pasay

Why go? It's the biggest shopping bazaar yet so you get that many choices. Part of your money goes to charity.
Another long running bazaar, World Bazaar Festival, now on its 15th year, is promising an even better, brighter, more festive fair than last year’s, looking to topple its record 800 booths and 248,000 shoppers last year. Expect to find selections such as bags, shoes, clothes, perfumes and toys alongside leather goods, novelty items, and a whole lot more. Other surprises are the Christmas Village, Designer’s Avenue, Woobie’s Goodies for pasalubongs (treats you take home to loved ones), and an area for dining and refreshment. There will also be a meet and greet event with celebrities from ABS CBN, and a comeback of Bloggers’ United where the country’s trendiest bloggers sell unique and fashionable finds. The best part yet is knowing that you shop for a cause as a portion of the sale goes to the ABS CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation.

Grand Christmas Rush Bazaar

December 18 to 21, Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall

Why go? A mix of local and imported items. Great for the budget conscious
Perfect for people who end up putting off their shopping 'til the very last minute, the Grand Christmas Rush Bazaar features over 102 sellers of anything and everything from fashion to health and beauty to gadgets to kids wear. The exhibitors sell a mix of locally and internationally sourced items, with all items not available at SM Megamall for fair competition. Running on its third year, this year’s event features more new and young sellers— including students starting up in the business— outnumbering repeat sellers. The bazaar is for the budget conscious. Entrance is P10.
