Take me to...Puerto Princesa Bay's dolphins

It's a breathtaking and magical sight — dolphins in pods of up to 40 performing their acrobatics as they navigate the waters of Puerto Princesa Bay in Palawan

Dolphins in Puerto Bay

Catch dolphins travelling in pods of up to 40 in Puerto Princesa Bay, Palawan. Sightings are almost guaranteed and the best time go is from April to October, when the waters are calm. Barangay Tulingan Fishermen’s Association, which was organized by Bayanijuan in 2008, organizes dolphin watching tours and helps in dolphin conservation efforts. The association holds a monthly coastal clean- up to avoid dolphins getting caught in sea debris and nets. These active animals can be seen swimming along the fishermen’s boats and feeding on smaller fishes in the area.

A three- hour dolphin cruise costs P1000 (about US$21) per person. Call +63 917 579 6665 for inquiries and reservations.
